WHAT HAVE BEEN ACCOMPLISHED:
JMEC has experience in providing construction management and construction phase services for many bridge and building projects.  Many of JMEC's projects included construction phase services in the contract.  Typical services included:
  • Perform and assist in construction inspection, material sampling and testing, and structural observation to ensure substantial compliance to contractual requirements and design intents.
  • Perform office engineering services including:  developing and review change orders, reviewing contractor's submittals, reviewing shop drawings, calculating pay quantities, preparing as-built drawings, preparing calculations and reports, redesigning components to suit field conditions.
  • Provide contract administration including reviewing billing and project schedule, and tracking progress vs payments.
  • Review plans for constructability
  • Provide field personnel as needed
